The Park West Foundation is proud to celebrate the life of Weusi Olusola and his more than two decades of commitment to save children's lives. By promoting peace and tolerance, Weusi has helped thousands of at-risk youth in Detroit and throughout the United States.
On March 7, 2009 the Park West Foundation hosted an awards ceremony for Weusi. The event, which turned out to be Weusi's final public appearance, was attended by family, friends, and others who shared Weusi's passion to make the world a better place by helping others to help themselves. On March 13, Weusi passed away at his home. We at Park West honor his memory and hope the love and commitment shown in these images helps to inspire others to also become a Pioneer for Peace.
