Providing New Directions for Youth

One of the Park West Foundation's primary initiatives is to provide under privileged children a support system to ease the difficult transition from foster care to a fulfilling life as young adults. Currently focusing on young women, the Park West Foundation diligently works for those about to "age-out" of the state-sponsored foster care system.

Gleaners Community Food Bank As one of the oldest food banks in the US, Gleaners Community Food Bank's mission has been to turn surplus food, which otherwise would go to waste, into millions of delicious meals for hungry people in southeastern Michigan. Today Gleaners distributes more than 28 million pounds annually, equivalent to over 60,000 meals per day. 
Grace Centers of Hope Grace Centers of Hope is considered one of the leading faith-based organizations in Southeastern Michigan, daily confronting issues of homelessness, addiction, poverty and spiritual emptiness. On any given night, Grace Centers of Hope will accommodate between 150-200 men, women and children. Each year we serve over 127,000 meals and provide over 55,000 nights of stay.
